Frequently Asked Questions

Is BinderBloom free?

Yes! BinderBloom is free to use. There's a paid Premium plan for additional features that cost money to run, like Smart Import.

What binder sizes are supported?

BinderBloom supports 2x2 (4 cards), 3x3 (9 cards), 3x4 (12 cards), and 4x4 (16 cards) page formats. Pick the one that matches your real binder.

What sorting modes are available?

Four modes: Color (groups by dominant hue for gradient-like pages), Complement (pairs opposite colors across each spread for striking contrasts), Artist (groups cards by illustrator), and Set Order (arranges by set release date and card number). More modes are coming soon.

Can I save my binder layouts?

Yes! Create an account to save your binders. Your layouts, card selections, and settings are all preserved so you can come back and edit anytime.

Can I share my binder with others?

Yes! Toggle any saved binder to public and share the link. Anyone with the link can view your binder layout in a read-only viewer with the same spread navigation and card details.

Does it support Japanese cards?

Yes! You can search and add both English and Japanese cards. Searching by English name will find the Japanese equivalent. Japanese rarity, types, and connected art are all supported.

What is Smart Import?

Smart Import lets you paste a card list in any format - spreadsheet rows, handwritten notes, set codes with numbers - and each line is parsed and matched to a card. It supports up to 1,000 lines per import. Available to Premium subscribers.

What about connected / panoramic art?

BinderBloom automatically detects cards that form connected panoramic artwork (like illustration rare evolution lines) and places them next to each other in your layout. This works for both English and Japanese cards.

Can I track which cards I own?

Yes! In the arrange view, hover over any card and click the eye icon in the top-left corner to mark it as not owned. Unowned cards appear greyed out and desaturated so you can see at a glance what you still need. This is saved with your binder and also visible on shared links.

Does BinderBloom work with other TCGs?

Currently BinderBloom is Pokémon-only. Support for other trading card games may come in the future.

Where is my data stored?

Your account and saved binders are stored on our servers. Card color analysis is cached server-side so it loads instantly on repeat visits. We don't share your data with third parties.
